Welcome to the enhanced Career Directions website. This site has several new and enhanced features. For example:
1. You now have the facility to create and update your own career ‘Action Plan’.
2. You can plan your ongoing education and training in line with your identified career.
3. You can view up-to-date Labour Market Information on occupations/careers including trends and future skills needs.
Please see the “What's New” tab on the left hand side for full details and take the ‘Quick Tour’ to see some of the new features at work.
We are in the process of updating all of the 700+ career profiles (and photographs) contained on the site and we will be updating these on a rolling basis. In addition, one of the key new features of Career Directions is that the Labour Market Information (LMI) available for the career profiles will be updated as and when data becomes available and, therefore, will always reflect the latest available research.
