What to do

Career Directions can help you explore your career options in two ways; you can choose to access the careers database or the careers matching program.

The Career Directions Database allows you to view all careers in A to Z order, together with detailed information about each career.

The Career Directions Matching program can match you to suitable careers based on your interests and qualifications. To use the matching program, you will be asked to log on as a user and answer a series of questions before your suggested careers are shown.

Some general advice for using Career Directions:

• Always follow the on-screen instructions carefully - only use the browser Back button when specifically requested to do so. Never use your browser's page history function to move around the program.
• If you need further help at any point, a Help link is available in the Main Menu at the bottom of each page.
• For information on how to change your screen settings, select the Accessibility link in the Main Menu. This is always available throughout the program.
